The Centers for Families and Children Treatment Plan

Nationally acclaimed, our Summer Treatment Program is an 8-week comprehensive summer camp program for children ages 6-12 with ADHD and related behavioral, emotional and learning challenges.

The program also encourages parent interest with weekly parent training sessions to develop the skills needed to change their child'due south behavior at home and help in their progress and success.

Program Goals

While each child and their family has unique needs, our program was designed to help everyone improve:

  • Trouble-solving and skills to better peer relationships
  • Learning skills and academic functioning
  • Ability to follow instructions, consummate tasks assigned and comply with requests
  • Improve self-esteem by developing competencies necessary for daily life
  • Skills and tools needed for parents to develop, reinforce and maintain positive changes

Our program consists of behavior therapy using a point organisation throughout the whole solar day, required parent preparation one time a week, two hours a mean solar day of academic instruction, and diverse sports including softball, soccer and basketball.

Eligibility

Parents of children with ADHD and related behavioral, emotional and learning challenges are encouraged to utilise. Our Team

Supervision and oversight are carried out past staff with over xx years of feel conducting effective handling programs for children with ADHD. While in the classroom, children are supervised by a teacher and a developmental adjutant, including highly trained, undergraduate paraprofessional therapists - students pursuing advanced degrees in psychology and educational specialists.

Summertime positions are available for Counselors, Research Assistants, Teachers, and Classroom Aides.     Room, board and travel expenses are not covered. Participants are responsible for making their own housing arrangements.
